The Floating World was an exhibition at the Dorsky Museum, one of the leading art museums in the Hudson Valley. I designed an eighty page catalogue to accompany the exhibition.

The catalogue is the first published piece dedicated solely to the work of Rudie Berkhout, a leading innovator in the medium of holographic art. Because representing three dimensional holographic art in print is not ideal, multiple views of each hologram are displayed across a spread to help convey the ever-changing geometrical forms and organic textures that make up the work. A geometric typeface and pure color gradients are used to project the artist’s aesthetic throughout the book.
